two arrested in connection with illegal Cripple Creek marijuana develop


Two guys have been arrested in connection with an illegal marijuana develop operation close to a higher college in Cripple Creek, according to the Teller County Sheriff’s Workplace.

Michael Gravino Jr., 40, and Michael Gravino Sr., 64, had been arrested and charged with offenses associated to marijuana, a Class two drug felony, and unique drug offender, a Class 1 drug felony, according to a news release. They are getting held in the Teller County Jail on a $50,000 bond.

The Teller County Narcotics Group performed an investigation into two residents who had been allegedly increasing marijuana and shipping it to areas out of state by means of the U.S. Postal Service, like to Texas and Florida.

On Aug. 1, officers performed a raid of a residence in the 100 Block of Pikes Peak Avenue in connection to the investigation, the news release mentioned. The residence is inside 500 feet of Cripple Creek Higher College.
