Utah dismissed appeals from six organizations that had been denied licenses to develop healthcare marijuana, a move that at least temporarily keeps the system on track to launch subsequent year.
Utah’s Division of Getting announced the dismissal of the appeals just days immediately after the July 26 deadline to file the challenges.
Getting Director Chris Hughes stated rejected applicants can appeal his selection to the state Procurement Policy Board.
The denied organizations could take into consideration lawsuits at a later point as nicely.
But the appeals challenged the state’s selection to award fewer licenses than permitted by law and also alleged that some applicants weren’t certified.
The organizations that appealed had been Pure UT, North Star Holdings, Total Wellness Sciences, Wild West Holding, JLPR and Tintic United Bioscience.
