State agriculture regulators have cleared Louisiana’s initially batch of health-related marijuana for release to pharmacies, ending months of delays finding the item cleared for individuals.
John Davis, the head GB Sciences Louisiana, mentioned health-related marijuana will be released to pharmacies on Tuesday and that is when the initially individuals can get access to the drug.
The Louisiana Division of Agriculture and Forestry mentioned Thursday evening it completed testing of a random sample of the marijuana tincture, which was developed by LSU and its contractor, GB Sciences.
“We are pleased to announce that LSU-GBSL’s final health-related marijuana item has passed all testing and is cleared for quick release to the health-related marijuana pharmacies,” Louisiana Agriculture and Forestry Commissioner Mike Strain mentioned in a statement.
Strain mentioned he appears forward to functioning with LSU and Southern University, the only other licensed grower in the state, on the coming phases of every single school’s marijuana operation.
