YREKA, Calif.,–A routine site visitors cease this weekend in Siskiyou County ended in deputies seizing 24 pounds of marijuana. This occurred in the Dorris location. A Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Workplace deputy stopped a driver for a site visitors infraction, the deputy noticed an odor of marijuana. The driver of the automobile admitted he had a big quantity of marijuana and was traveling out of state.

In addition to the marijuana, 90 milliliters of hash oil and a big sum of dollars have been also seized. Mr. Ming Yang Wang of Texas was arrested and booked in the Siskiyou County Jail. The drugs have been headed out of California.

The Siskiyou Unified Big Investigation Group (SUMIT), a nearby California Division of Justice (DOJ)-led drug process force, with participants from DOJ, SCSO, Yreka Police Division, and the California Highway Patrol (CHP) that mostly investigates important drug crimes, was contacted, responded, and is assisting with the on-going investigation.
