UK – Channel Islands: Second Cannabis Farm Mooted For Jersey

A former Jersey tomato farm is the proposed place for the island’s second healthcare Cannabis farm facility. Solairo Ltd has confirmed its proposed plans to demolish the existing structure on the web site and construct a new farm.

At present, the only healthcare Cannabis farm on the island was authorized in July for a web site close to Crabbé, in St Mary. Government officials in Jersey have created clear their intention of creating their Cannabis operations.

The Financial Improvement Minister, Senator Lyndon Farnham, attended the Cannabis Europa Expo in June exactly where she revealed plans for the island’s Cannabis sector. The announcement came soon after the Jersey Evening Post reported that island officials had currently begun vetting neighborhood providers.

Due to the situation of the structure, the application needs permissions to make a new facility. The application claims that the new facility will use power-effective LED lighting, and use minimal car movements.
