Former Barclays banker Roger Jenkins has abandoned his dreams of joining the California “green rush” following the marijuana farm he invested in was sold.
A cannabis plantation backed by the 64-year-old multi-millionaire has been purchased by to an unknown investor, City sources stated.
Mr Jenkins, who lives close to Malibu, invested in the venture in 2016, just as it was created legal for California voters aged more than 21 to develop, possess and use restricted quantities of cannabis.
